Moroccan Flag

The flag of Morocco  is made of a red background, this color  represents the hardiness, bravery, strength and valour.  According to the history it is also  proclaiming the descent of the royal Alaouite family from the Prophet Muhammad via Fatima, the wife of Ali, the fourth Muslim Caliph. 
The green pentagram or five-pointed star represents the Solomon’s seal.

    A pentagram (sometimes known as star pentagon ) is the shape of a five-pointed star drawn with five straight strokes. It is also known as a symbol of faith

Moroccan Currency





Dirham is the currency of Morocco also known as dhs or "MAD" by ISO 4217  codeThe dirham is issued by the Bank AL-Maghrib, the central Bank of Morocco. The export of the local currency is prohibited by law, meaning sending Moroccan dirhan international is not allowed. that is one of the main problem of all the expats working here, especially for the Filipino workers.

 is the national dress of the Moroccan women. These robes  can be wear in  casual to extremely formal, depending on the materials used and it depend also to the occasion.

Brief History


          
        Al-Mamlakah al-Maghribiyah is the official name of Morocco which means The kingdom of Morocco.  Rabat is the Capital City.  Casablanca is the largest City and it is also the center forbusiness transaction , and  industrial  zone. Arabic is the main language, but its different from the classic Arabic, the main language is called  Maghrebi dialect. Classic Arabic is being taught in the school.  French considered as their second language, and  it is widely used and spoken specially for some business transaction, even the road sign and advertisement. Morocco got their independence on March 1956 from French, and April 1956 from Spanish. Although it is being colonized by two Christian country. Majority of Moroccan are Muslim (98%). Other religion are Judaism and Christianity.  The form of government is Constitutional Monarchy. Moroccans are loyal to their King,   they have this motto “God, the Country, the King”. In fact every businesses or establishment or even the small store or in every house there is the picture of their King. The currency is Moroccan dirham or Dh/Mad. , , ,

Berbers are the indigenous and the first people of  Morocco. The Arab-Moroccan  people start from  Idriss 1(789-985), The founder of the first  Moroccan dynasty. A Shiite political exile from Mecca.
